November 26, 2007 Leipzig Consul for Public Affairs Mark Wenig paid a visit to the Rodewisch vocational school (Berufsschulzentrum) in southern Saxony to meet with a total of 50 students split up in two groups.  During the first presentation, which was followed by Q&A sessions and discussion, Wenig addressed global political hotspots, the fight against terrorism, consular work and how one joins the diplomatic service.  In the second group, the Consul discussed the U.S. commitment to address climate change, and how the media, and particularly newspapers, are changing in the Internet age.
