November 24, 2007
On November 24, Americans Nicole Simml (soprano) and Amy Wegge (pianist) reprised a recital of 20th Century American songs they had performed a year before at the Consul General's’s residence. The venue this year was the Linden Hall, a theatre in the City Hall of Markkleeberg. Over 70 official guests invited by the Consulate and the Lord Mayor of Markkleeberg joined a like number of paying customers in the audience.  After the 75-minute performance, invited guests moved on to a buffet reception featuring turkey and sweet potatoes.
