Consul Mark Wenig’s Last Meet Us

July 7, 2008. At his final “Meet US” event, Consul for Public Affairs Mark Wenig met with 15 students from a rural vocational school in Reichenbach, Saxony. The main topic of discussion was the 2008 presidential election, which Wenig stressed would once again be a very close race. Students showed considerable interest in Wenig’s role as Consul, and his impressions of Leipzig after having served here for three years.
