Consul for Public Affairs Mark Wenig addressed a group of about 50 adults from two separate classes of evening English students, as well as members of the public, in the Saxon town of Hohenstein-Ernstthal. Wenig outlined U.S. German relations, U.S. foreign policy and explained the current presidential campaign. The two-hour session also consisted of Q&A and discussion, which was led by Andreas Barth, a Zwickau librarian and close Consulate contact, who teaches one of the classes. Hohenstein-Ernsthal is best known as the birthplace of Karl May, the German author who wrote about the American West.
