Consul General Follows Footsteps Of American Music Students In Leipzig

December 5, 2008. Consul General Katherine Brucker visited Leipzig's University of Music and Theater where she met library Director Dr. Barbara Wiermann, who gave her a tour through the library.  Its archives showcase valuable treasures of library and archival documents such as registrations and final certificates of students, including numerous Americans. Consul General Brucker provided information about the Consulate's products and services to the librarian and presented U.S. Department of State's Bureau of International Information Programs brochure ‘American Popular Music'.
