Consul for Public Affairs Mark Wenig hosted a luncheon for Prof. Wendy Pradt Lougee from University of Minnesota Libraries, at which he and his Information Resource Center (IRC) director discussed joint German-American projects and Web 2.0 developments with directors and representatives from Leipzig’s major libraries. In the afternoon, Mrs. Lougee addressed a highly interested group of about fifty first and third semester students of library and museum science at the University of Applied Sciences in Leipzig.
