Meet The Author

November 20, 2008. Literary New York – an American bilingual special of das gefrorene meer, a Dresdenbased magazine on international literature and arts, which Consulate General Leipzig supported – was launched with an evening combining readings with the screening of new short art films. U.S. poet Christian Hawkey, one of twelve young Americans featured in the edition, introduced some of his writings and discussed them with an audience of about 80 literary enthusiasts.
