August 23, 2009. The Leipzig Information Resource Center (IRC) joined some 30 Leipzig libraries - from public to university to special libraries - at the 2^nd Leipzig Street Library Festival. At the booth, James Seward, Consul for Public Affairs, IRC staff, and two German interns explained Meet US and America@Your Library programs, and alerted visitors to the wide range of State Department information offers, including eJournals USA and other online resources. Many visitors used the opportunity to share their own U.S. experiences or expressed a desire to spend some time in the U.S. The America quiz, which was in great demand, was rewarded with an "About the USA" CD-ROM.
