Affirming U.S.-Eu Relations For Students And Teachers In The Ore Mountains

April 24, 2008. Consul General Mark Scheland participated in the Europa Woche 2008 symposium for high school students and teachers at the Lessing-Gymnasium in Hohenstein-Ernstthal, near Chemnitz. Following a representative of the Saxony State Chancellery, who spoke about the opportunities for career development that come with European integration, the U.S. Consul General provided our views on the crucial U.S.-EU relationship for addressing issues beyond the transatlantic area. The 50 students and over a dozen teachers snapped up the briefing and reference materials.
