June 10, 2008
. Consul for Public Affairs Mark Wenig represented the Berlin U.S. Embassy and Leipzig Consulate General at a lecture by this year’s Frank Freidel Resident, Dr. Paula Lee. The program enables an American academic to use the resources of the Frank Freidel Library in Leipzig during a six-week stay, as well as to teach and network in a transatlantic framework. The lecture by Dr. Paula Lee, Harvard University, focused on the similarities of cultural and animal studies, and asked the question, “What do animals look like?”
