Konrad Adenauer Foundation Grantees Discuss Election

October 30, 2008. Consul for Public Affairs James Seward and Leipzig University Professor Crister Garrett led a lively discussion of the U.S. presidential campaign and prospects for Germany from a new administration with 25 former and current grantees of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. The audience was especially interested in changes in foreign policy that might be expected from a new administration. Both Seward and Garrett stressed that while the candidates certainly differ in style and emphasis, the big issues will remain the same.
