Leipzig Librarians Meet "The Hollywood Librarian"

Consul  James Seward with Regina Bruch at the University of Applied Sciences

April 16, 2009. The third screening of the "Hollywood Librarian" in the consular district took place at Leipzig's University of Applied Sciences. Regina Bruch from the university and the Consul for Public Affairs James Seward discussed the movie with more than 80 students of the media department and librarians from around Leipzig. James Seward spoke about the importance of libraries for education, economic development, and democracy, citing Barack Obama's 2005 speech "Bound to the Word."
