Dr. Saalbach and Mrs. Naumann, principal of the Herder school, talk to the students.

Dr. Horst Saalbach, Festo, visited Leipzig and met the principal Mrs. Naumann and students from Leipzig's Herder school. Dr. Saalbach who has always proudly displayed his German heritage and more specifically his place of birth, the City of Leipzig, supported American-German relations over the last 25 years. Within Festo, Dr. Saalbach sponsored approximately twenty exchange students for six months each from Germany. He provided them with temporary and permanent working conditions.
At the Herderschule Dr. Saalbach engaged in a dialog with 9th graders about transatlantic relations and Germany's economic situation. The students were eager to learn about Dr. Saalbach's life story.
