May 14, 2009. Crister Garrett, Leipzig University's professor for American politics and director of the Institute of American Studies, reviewed American foreign and domestic policies of the new administration in Zittau (Saxony). The event offered about 50 participants of all age groups (from high school on) a forum to discuss goals as well as perspectives, and first results, mainly from a transatlantic point-of-view. The evening provided the audience an opportunity for clarification of questions and a vivid discussion.
