Professor Crister Garrett

April 17, 2007
Consulate General Leipzig hosted an in-service training for 19 English teachers from Saxony-Anhalt in Leipzig. Prof. Crister Garrett, American historian and political scientist teaching at Leipzig University, lectured on how to use the Internet in teaching American politics and the next Presidential elections, while Consul for Public Affairs Mark Wenig introduced the teachers to the Consulate’s activities. The participants also learned about the Information Resource Center's research tools and services. The event, which was co-sponsored by local school authorities, was a follow-up to in-service training seminars in Schönebeck, held in the spring of 2006.
