Group of 33 Young People Visits the Consulate

Young visitors from Ellrich, Thuringia, at IRC


Young people from Germany, the US, and Britian explore Information Resource Center resources

July 28, 2004. Acting Consul General Dr. Elizabeth Bonkowsky welcomed a group from Ellrich, Thuringia, and introduced them to the work of the Consulate. The 33 young people participate in a project called "Großer Grenzverkehr" which brings together students from Germany, the USA and the UK. The Americans and British mediate between youth from the East and West of Germany.
