October 28 & 29, 2008. Consul for Public Affairs James Seward spoke on the U.S. election with an audience of about 30 at the City Library in Erfurt and 90 plus students at the Philipp-Melanchthon-Gymasium in Schmalkalden. Adults and students alike still have many questions about the campaign and electoral mechanics, but are shifting more of their attention beyond November 4 to the impact a new administration will have on Germany.
