November 25, 2008. Nearly 200 11th and 12th graders at the Martin-Rinkart-Gymnasium in the Leipzig suburb of Eilenburg listened to Leipzig Consul for Public Affairs James Seward discuss the recent election and the current transition. As an example of the close cooperation between the current and incoming administrations, Consul Seward, drawing on a White House press release, noted that President Bush had talked with President-elect Obama about the decision to safeguard Citicorps from Air Force One even as he was flying home from the just-completed ASEAN Summit in Peru.
