November 25, 2008. Consul for Public Affairs James Seward and Leipzig Information Resource Center (IRC) staff, accompanied by IRC coordinator Nancy Rajczak from U.S. Embassy Berlin, visited the Dresden State and University Library to meet with Director Dr. Bürger and four of his staffers responsible for press and public relations, online databases, and digital projects. In the evening, the screening of the “Hollywood Librarian” took place at the library – its first showing ever in the Leipzig Consulate Geneneral district. While Dr.  Bürger welcomed the audience of about 40 librarians, Consul James Seward introduced the movie and took questions from the audience after the showing.
