New Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Participants Gather Near Leipzig

December 12, 2008. Consul General Katherine Brucker met with a dozen American participants in the CBYX (Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange) program in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia. The Americans are involved in a range of activities, from studying at local universities, to practical internships in fields as diverse as production machinery, pre-school instruction and cooking. With this meeting the Consul General continued the tradition of meeting with CBYX participants and used the opportunity to explain what a Consulate General does and to answer questions about Foreign Service Careers.
