Consul General Visits Libraries in Saxony

In two articles, the March 2009 edition of the magazine for libraries (BIS-Bibliotheken in Sachsen) voiced its appreciation for Consul General Katherine Brucker's engagement with libraries throughout Saxony. The first article describes her participation at the "Leipziger Bibliotheksfest" in 2008, shortly after arriving in Leipzig, her presentations, readings, "Meet US" programs, and the Consulate's participation in the annual Leipzig Book Fair. The second article, entitled "American Spotlight", talks about the Consul General's visit to the town and district library of Glauchau, where she donated the "40 best children's books of 2008" to the library.
