Europe-Library in Görlitz
September 23, 2008. Consul for Public Affairs James W. Seward traveled to the eastern border of Saxony to address 15 students of the Görlitz ESO language school at the Europe-library, one of Consulate’s A@YL partners. Seward explained the Consulate’s work and programs, talked about his diplomatic career and the presidential election campaign 2008. Consul Seward’s presentation, mostly in English for the benefit of the language students, was followed by a lively Q@A discussion in German. Dr. Dippe, head of ESO language school, welcomed Seward and attended the program as did the Consulate’s nominee for the “Eastern German Teachers Visitors Program”, Mrs. Dietrich, English teacher from Augustus-Annen-Gymnasium Görlitz, who will join the program in October 2008.
