U.S. Librarian Addresses Leipzig Students

May 28, 2008. Dale Askey from the Kansas State University Libraries lectured at Leipzig University of Applied Sciences (HTWK) to an audience of 25 librarians and first-semester students of library sciences on “Information Ecologies – Gap between Librarians and Researchers.” Prof. Hacker, dean of the media faculty, a longstanding close contact of the Consulate, welcomed the audience. TheConsulate’s Information Resource Center (IRC) director attended the U.S. Embassy supported program.
