April 21, 2004. Consul for Public Affairs Dr. Elizabeth Bonkowsky spoke at the opening of the paper show 'Louis Armstrong - King of Jazz' in Halle, Saxony-Anhalt, University Library. The University Library Director Dr. Heiner Schnelling and the Dean of the Philosophy Department Prof. Georg Maas gave opening remarks which were followed by a concert of the university's Swing Band. The opening of the Louis Armstrong Exhibition was joined by more than 50 guests. |
