June 20, 2006
Consul General Mark Scheland and Consul for Public Affairs Mark Wenig hosted two groups of Americans at the Consulate. Students from the University of Arizona (in Leipzig for a summer school program) and teachers who are members of the American Association of Teachers of German (on a teacher in service training program), gathered in the garden to exchange ideas. The Consulate has had longstanding close working relationships with the two host institutions, The Herder-Institute and Leipzig University.
