Consul General Mark Scheland, Consul for Public Affairs Mark Wenig and visiting Cultural Attaché Peter Claussen, U.S. Embassy Berlin, welcomed 23 Leipzig consular district-based American Fulbright students and scholars at the Consulate. After presentations by the American officers on the work of the Mission, including on the “Meet US” school outreach program, the group posed questions and an interesting discussion ensued. The day concluded with a guided tour of the Contemporary Forum’s new permanent exhibit on German postwar history, with a focus on the division of Germany.
